Allianz wins ‘General Insurer of the Decade’

Allianz has been recognised for its incredible success over the last 10 years after it was named ‘General Insurer of the Decade’ at last night’s British Insurance Awards (BIA). Allianz also picked up the award for Underwriter of the Year.

The award, in part, is representative of Allianz's investment in providing our broker partners with the best products and services available and is part of our ongoing commitment to help support and develop your business.

Over the past few years we have been able to utilise broker feedback to make improvements to our internal processes, enhance our product offering and pricing capability, and improve the way in which we engage with your business and your customers.

This has led to the delivery of a number of key activities across our business, including:

  • The launch of our Clear Household, Clear Private Car and Clear Commercial Vehicle products, designed to cater for different client needs and based on a new pricing model that provides a more accurate rating - making it more competitive in our chosen markets
  • Delivery of several key initiatives in our Broker Service and Claims teams
  • The launch of Allianz Partners Academy for personal lines brokers, including Academy Courses and Scholarship Programme
  • The launch of new support tools on our Retail eBroker website such as Broker FAQs, NCD Request Forms, Product Comparison Centre and our new Campaign Creator marketing tool that lets you create your own branded promotional material for marketing to your customers.
