The award-winning Allianz Scholarship Programme, now in its third year, actively supports staff at Chartered brokers or those working towards Chartered status, in achieving their CII Diploma in Insurance through the Allianz Partners Academy.

Building upon our already successful broker development programmes, with over 500 brokers taking part annually, we are continuing our commitment to raising professional standards across the industry. The Academy will continue to offer high calibre training across a range of product-specific and management modules.

In addition to this, the Scholarship programme, one of its kind in the industry, provides successful applicants access to first-class tuition and networking opportunities, as well as the chance to further develop their technical and industry knowledge and attain their CII Diploma in Insurance. Scholars for the third intake have just been chosen and studies commence in May 2014.

Allianz has also recently launched the Scholarship Alumni for scholars who have graduated from the programme and achieved their Diploma in Insurance. Members will have access to a whole host of exclusive support in recognition of their achievement. Over time, the Alumni community will grow in to an active and supportive community.

Allianz Chief Executive Officer Jon Dye, said: "We are committed to the personal development of our brokers. The Allianz Partners Academy has already assisted many brokers in the industry to achieve their Chartered Insurance Broker status and we look forward to welcoming many more of you over the coming years.”

Graeme Sutton, Director of Corporate Development at The Chartered Insurance Institute commented "This is further evidence of Allianz’s commitment to raising professional standards in the insurance sector. Chartered Insurance Brokers will find the Scholarship programme an extremely valuable benefit as they strive to differentiate themselves from their competitors."
