Allianz has partnered with the Women’s Engineering Society (WES) to encourage more females into the engineering industry and develop a more diverse workforce.

WES is a professional network of women engineers and scientists which promotes the education of engineering and supports companies with gender diversity and inclusion.

As part of the partnership, Allianz will attend events run by WES, to learn about and share good practice as well as advertising engineering vacancies on the WES website job boards and newsletters, to reach a larger network.

Allianz’s Director of Engineering, Construction & Power, Chris Little, said:

This is an issue that I am particularly passionate about and I am delighted that Allianz is partnering with WES to inspire and support women to achieve their potential as engineers.
"Attracting women to engineering roles is unfortunately a common challenge and one that Allianz Engineering, Construction & Power also faces. Our partnership with WES supports our diversity programme and will enable us to access best practice advice in hopefully welcoming more women into engineering."
