Accessibility Policy

Our Commitment to Accessibility

We want to make sure that you are able to read all information and complete any applications you wish on our website. To ensure this, our website has been designed to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) set by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as part of their Web Accessibility Initiative. Our online application is also compliant with the required WCAG ‘A’ standard.

Accessible Documents (PDFs)

Most documents on this website are PDFs (portable document format) and are accessible to all with visual impairments via Adobe Acrobat Reader, so please use this tool to open PDF files and make them readable.

NB: The Doc1 PDFs on this website are not compatible with Adobe Acrobat Reader, therefore if you require an alternative version please contact Louise Gillespie: Phone +44 (0) 1483 552104 or email louise.gillespie@allianz.co.uk

Browser Capability

Our website uses CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to separate content from presentation, reduce file sizes and increase download speeds. The majority of our images have been regulated to the CSS document, and we have provided text alternatives for graphic content wherever possible. You will also be able to access our site if your browser does not support JavaScript.

We have tested our pages on a wide range of browsers to ensure compatibility. These include:

Text and Background

In accordance with W3C’s recommendations, we have tried to ensure maximum contrast between foreground and background coloured items. If you need to use your own text and background colour settings, you can change them easily. However, you may find this can cause adverse effects in the browser and certain content may not be displayed.
