Allianz Commercial has appointed Chris Dee as the division’s new casualty manager.

Chris will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the casualty account including reporting, technical guidance and training. He will develop the casualty strategy to increase growth opportunities and profitability.

Commenting on his appointment, Chris said: "I am delighted to be joining one of the largest commercial insurers in the UK. Allianz is a company with financial security and a dynamic management team. The people I met before joining gave me a strong impression of a business with a clear vision and a desire to progress in many areas."

Chris, who is ACII qualified, joins Allianz from Fusion Insurance Services where he had been deputy UK liability manager since August 2005.
