| Allianz Commercial and the Automobile Association (AA) have reached another milestone by achieving 1,000 sales of their breakdown recovery solution for commercial motor clients, just months after celebrating the first year of their successful partnership.
The 1000th sale went to Polytech Building Services Ltd, a building and electrical services company based in the City of London. To commemorate the landmark, the AA’s ‘Patrol of the Year', Stewart Topp, attended a special presentation to meet Polytech’s director, Costas Polycarpou, along with representatives from holding broker IPS Terroni.
Mr Polycarpou said: "This product is crucial for our business. To work as effectively as possible our fleet needs to be operational at all times. The solution Allianz has provided, via the AA, means we can have peace of mind without sacrificing our budget."
Commenting on Allianz’s sales achievement, Roger Williams, head of fleet services at the AA, said: “We are extremely pleased to have reached this sales milestone via our partnership with Allianz. The performance of the product has been consistently strong. This is a result of the preferential customer discounts and the dedication and enthusiasm demonstrated by the Allianz team to make this partnership a success.”
Mark Sherman, senior motor fleet underwriter, Allianz Commercial, added: “As a responsible insurer, we are dedicated to providing the very best solutions for clients and supporting them in managing their risks and businesses.”
The AA partnership offers new and existing Allianz fleet and motor trade policyholders access to a range of breakdown and recovery services at preferential rates. It is just one of a series of arrangements with leading industry service suppliers, such as RoSPA, Autoglass and TRACKER, which provide additional benefits to Allianz Commercial motor customers.
