Allianz Commercial has secured a three-year deal with insurance broker, R A Cowen & Partners Ltd, as the principal provider for their SME book of business.
The partnership is expected to generate significant premium and will see the insurer underwrite risks within their small business product range.
The deal continues the success of the Allianz small business team in 2009 following the announcement of similar tie-ups with Towergate Northampton and the Purple Partnership earlier in the year.
Graeme Durlacher, small business development manager, Allianz Commercial, said: "At Allianz, we are confident that our broad product portfolio, innovative solutions and value-added offerings provide a market-leading small business proposition. Despite strong competition, our tender was successful as we were able to respond to the needs of the broker, producing a tailored three-year deal. Our position of financial strength, allied to our commitment to service, makes us a partner to do business with."
Paul Chaplin and Stuart Williams, directors, R A Cowen & Partners Ltd, commented: "We are delighted to have secured this arrangement with Allianz Commercial. We are confident that this development ensures we are able to provide our clients with access to the best possible small business products and service levels in the market."
